Beans, beans, the magical fruit...my mature high school teacher husband Jeff sang as I fed Maddie. It all started with the rice cereal as Madison continued to spit it out every time we fed her. She loved the spoon, but didn't like the cereal. So, I opted to try veggies. She loved it from the first bite, I couldn't feed her fast enough. As she finished half a jar, I thought that would be enough for the first try...as you can see by the last picture she did not want to be done. We will go at it again tomorrow :) Leave a comment if you have any tips on getting her to like rice cereal.

I learned it was Beans beans the MUSICAL fruit??? I mean it does make music right??? HA! I LOVE the picture of Maddie crying so funny (probably not so funny for the people trying to feed her!).
Hey!! Love the messy baby food pics, they are my favorite. Try and mix the rice cereal with whatever veggies you've given her. Only a tablespoon or so but that is the only way Claire will touch the stuff=)
how did you get the new web address???? i am so jealous that you have all the hip new blog stuff!
I agree with your sis in law, you can try to mix some veggies in with it or what i have been doing lately is scoop half the spoon with cereal and then in the front of the spoon have veggies that way she is getting both but just the veggie taste in front! If I feed Hallie just plain cereal she will make herself gag and gag, its pretty ridiculous! That is great that she likes her veggies, green beans?
I've always heard that if you mix it with pop or Mac and cheese kids will eat just about anything! And Keith and Meghan are right... Beans are the MUSICAL fruit. sheesh!
Forget the rice cereal...move to gerber oatmeal. From personal experience, it tastes way better. :) And yes, I've eaten all of that junk!
